What you are REALLY looking for...

What you REALLY, TRULY need isn't in the pantry or the fridge. Plus, there will never be enough simple mills crackers or toll house chocolate chips to satisfy what you are REALLY looking for anyway.

You actually don't need the handful of pita chips or the scoop of ice cream.


The best news is that what you are looking for so desperately that you think is inside the ice cream or pasta is actually right inside you.


I know, cheese-a-lish but it is true.


You can give yourself comfort. You can give yourself love. You can give yourself a big exhale. You can give yourself pleasure.


How? the way you talk to yourself, like I am talking ridiculously silliness nicey nice self talk.


Like "awwwww honey boo babe, you are sad or lonely or stressed (fill in what you are going through),” that is okay, I love you, let's see what we really need right now, maybe it is a walk or a hug or to get into bed or to just keep talking nicely to ourselves, what are we really searching for that is not in the pantry?


And when you give whatever you are looking for to you by talking to yourself like crazy nicely you will feel so much better in your body and in your mind. Plus you will lose weight. Boo ya!
