I touch myself (and you should too)
This week let’s get a little WOO.
And by WOO I mean let’s touch ourselves.
Don’t worry. I don't mean it like that.
My Dad reads every single blog. (love you, Dad)
So you can be assured these will always be PG.
This week all I want you to do is touch yourself and think something nice.
You already touch yourself so you don’t really have to add anything to your to do list.
So when you are putting on lotion.
Or taking a shower.
Or literally putting your socks on.
Can you just add a little self love in?
Could you just say something like:
“Thank you body”
“I love you body”
“I appreciate you body”
OR
“Look at all you have done for me, you’ve made meals and climbed mountains and loved our people and birthed babies and soaked in the delicious sunshine and laughed til we got that happy hormone high.”
OR
“We might have had a rocky relationship up until now, but I am working on loving and accepting you.”
OR
“This is my hand. Hand how cool are you? What is possible for us if I were to just love you?” PS you can do this with your thigh or your neck or your stomach.
OR
You can create your own.
What will you say to your body this week?
We think that we have to hate ourselves thin.
It never works.
The only way to weigh what we want permanently is by loving our bodies FIRST.
The practice begins now.
