Do you think I can achieve my CRAZY goal?
Did you guys know one of my big goals this year is to hike 52 times in 52 weeks?
WITH A BABY + A TODDLER IN TOW.
Kinda crazy, right?
So on Father’s Day we decided to hike with my dad.
This was our 13th hike of the year.
If you have some minor math skillz you can see we are WAY behind.
My dear dad decided to comment on this, and said something very innocent:
“Oh well, you might still get there, but even if you don’t, it’ll still be a great experience.”
My brain immediately responded with:
“Might! Oh hell no, there are no MIGHTS. We are doing this! We will hike 52 times in 52 weeks, even if there are temper tantrums, even if we have to buy toddler crampons, even if it is 100 degrees, even if we don’t have an exact HOW or an exact plan…..”
I was like YES brain! GO brain! That is right! We will do this!
I was so proud of my brain for believing so hard in my goal that its automatic response was rooted in CONVICTION and BELIEF!
This goal is as good as done in my mind.
