How to Take Action

Many of us are truly taking action right now.

We are DOING the things to lose weight. We are DOING the things to end racism.

BUT my question is WHERE are you taking action from?

Every single action we take comes from a feeling.

Every single one.

Feelings are the reason we do or don’t do everything in our lives.

So what I want to know is:

Are you doing that new food plan because you feel ashamed?

Are you reading White Fragility because you feel ignorant?

Are you working out because you feel guilt?

Are you donating because you are angry?

None of the above are BAD.

BUT they are not sustainable.

When we take action from a “negative” feeling we create inconsistency, burnout, exhaustion and a quitters mentality.

So what if you could still take action but from a feeling you like?

Do the healthy food plan from inspired. Reading from empowered. Working out from excited. Donating from love.

This is the secret to creating anything permanently.

Because then it is sustainable, energizing, maybe even enjoyable.

And that is what we want, right?
