5 Travel Tips

HEY GORGEOUS!

I just got back from hot + spicy MIAMI!!! SO FUN.

What is more fun!?!? I did not gain weight (and side note, one of my clients who was there LOST weight!!!).

Here are my hot tips for airport / travel days (BUT you can apply them to the ENTIRE vacay OR other non-regular routine days AND REALLY just life in general!)!

1. There is always something to eat that is on plan (seriously there is!) in the airport, in the new destination, at the party. This THOUGHT/ BELIEF "there is always something on plan" IS the first tip. You must believe this! When you think and believe this you will prove yourself to be right. Pinky poromise.

2. Airports HAVE endless options and all kinds of snacks, even Hudson News and many gas stations have alllll kinds of options. Cheese, nuts, meat sticks, fruit, tons of stuff! A lot of airports and road trips will have a starbucks too, my go to are the egg bites. So easy, so simple.

3. Remember it doesn't have to be the most amazing snack/ meal of your life (and it shouldn't be!). If it sucks, let it suck and move on. You will get another meal in like 4-5 hours.

4. I often like to fast when traveling depending on the day/ time/ length. You can always fast. This is a real option. You have plenty of fuel on your body for fuel, that is literally the purpose of fat. This will be WAY easy if you already routinely fast.

5. Don't slip into old "vacation you" identities. Some of us used to (or still do) go CRAZY in the airport and eat our faces off (normal btw) because we were playing "Vacation Laura". If you have always eaten your face off or just eaten kinda junky on travel days and you know it doesn't serve you, you can decide that that is who you used to be AND that is not who you are any longer! It is the WORST arriving to vacay feeling gross! Let's feel light, alive and energetic, it IS vacay after all!

You don't have to pick all of these tips to implement, just pick one or two and go!

Just try it once and go from there!
