Episode 200 | An Interview with a Skeptical Yummy Mummy

One of my favorite clients ever is here to share a bit about her story inside the Yummy Mummy Experience!

Liron joins me on the pod today from her home in Kansas City where she lives with her husband and two kids and I know you’re going to relate to her prior struggle with weighing what she wanted.

“In the grand scheme of things, I just wanted to lose 10-15 pounds, but it was a lot harder than I thought it was going to be. When I did things like Noom, I would do it in six to eight weeks and then go on vacation, or something would happen (good or bad) and I didn’t have the tools to not give up. So then it became a vicious cycle for two years.”

Liron had been listening to THIS podcast for eight months when she finally decided to join the Yummy Mummy cohort this past January.

“It’s a village of people who are like-minded, who are all successful in their own right, who need cheerleaders behind them to get this done. It’s a way to do something that’s hard but do it with others who really uplift you and support you.”

Hop in on our conversation and hear straight from Liron about:

  • Why Yummy Mummy is different for your weight loss than going it alone

  • How she learned not to give up on herself anymore

  • The safety and sisterhood Liron found in the Yum Mum community

  • What pleasantly surprised her about joining Yum Mum and how it compares to ‘diets’

Weighing what you want to weigh is a skill, which means it’s something you can learn. The School of Skinny (my 5-day weight loss challenge) is IN SESSION September 9th-13th but just like any other school, you have to enroll! You can do that at lauraconley.com/school and walk away with a black and white weight loss plan you know you’ll follow.
