Your Future Self!

What can you do today that your future self will thank you for?

For so many of us it is extra easy right now to:

Binge on our feeds.

To keep the news on all day.

To only talk of the doom and gloom.

But will your future self thank you for this?

It is easy to laze about the day.

To eat crap.

To not go outside.

It is just so easy to complain.

And ask what if and what if?

But will your future self thank you for this?

Mine definitely won’t.

So I am on purpose asking this question every day.

In a month or two or six or whenever this passes, what will my future self thank me for?

She will thank me for eating healthy.

For staying on track in losing my baby weight.

She will be so proud I got enough sleep and reading before bed (wooo! I can barely see those circles, Laura honey babe!).

For working out alongside the baby.

For creating a gratitude practice with my 2 year old.

For showing up in new ways (helllllooo Facebook live!) and helping the people even though I am a little scared sometimes. She especially loves this one.

Let me be clear if you are showing up and feeling the way you do not want to right now, that is okay.

That is so okay.

You are a human. Be nice to you.

But now you have a choice.

Imagine your future self thanking you on May 31, 2020. What is she thanking you for?
