Divorce...
Hey YUMMY YOU!
Are you in a committed, loving relationship?
Say with a hubby, a wifey, with your kiddos, your mom, a partner, your bestie, someone out there that breathes?
Most of us are in some kind of committed, loving relationship.
I am in one with my hubby.
Sometimes it really is rainbows and daisies and unicorns and sparkles!
And sometimes we fight.
But we don't quit when we fight.
We don't get divorced when we fight.
We don't throw in the towel when we fight.
We don't go make out with other humans at bars when we fight. (at least I hope WE are not doing this ;))
We just know fighting is a part of the process.
And if we are being the mature adults we like to think we are... we know that when we fight, it is actually an opportunity to grow, to learn, to make our marriage better.
I am guessing you are getting where I am going with this one...
If you want to weigh what you want to weigh, you have to commit to being in a freaking committed and loving relationship with yourself, your body and with food.
Some days it will be easy. Some days it will be hard. The key is to commit and to never divorce yourself.
Don't divorce yourself when you make a mistake or gain a pound or 5 or eat a cupcake.
Don't divorce yourself when you go on vacay and forget to eat the way that serves you.
Don't divorce yourself when your jeans don't fit.
Don't dovirce yourself when you sit down and you don't feel the way you want to in your body.
Don't divorce yourself when you catch yourself speaking unkindly to yourself.
Instead, can you love yourself and see "the fight" or mistake as an opportunity to actually strengthen your commitment?
If we really commit, then we can actually lose weight.
The reason we are not losing weight is because we keep divorcing ourselves over and over and over again.
Stay in it babe. I mean you are gonna be with YOU for the rest of your life anyway, might as well go ALL FREAKING IN.
