Quitting

I’ve been skiing on and off for YEARS. Last week I fell and hurt my knee. But I’m not quitting skiing.

Are you surprised I’m not quitting because I fell even though I’ve been skiing for like 30 years?

NO YOU ARE NOT. YOU ARE NOT SURPRISED I AM NOT QUITTING.

You’re not gonna be like “wow she’s a fucking idiot” when you see a ski pic of me next week. You’re gonna be like “oh cool”.

The same should be true with eating. The same MUST be true with eating.

But it’s not.

When we fall within our eating or our protocol or our plan we want to quit.

Some of us do quit. It’s so fucking backwards it makes me wild.

So when you fall with your eating get back up and keep going.

You may need to uncover what made you fall. That’s all good.

But don’t you dare make a fall mean:

  • That you should quit.

  • Or that you should know better.

  • Or that you're a failure.

  • Or that this really isn't for you.

Instead make it mean it’s like anything else in life: A PRACTICE.

You’re supposed to fall. You’re supposed to do it imperfectly. And then? You’re supposed to get back up and continue.

You will do the yummy mummy experience and you will lose weight for the last time and then in 19 years you’ll fall and eat the cookie you said you weren’t and then you’ll get the mother eff back up and keep going.

No matter how bad the fall is. No matter how many “buts” your brain comes up with.

And the whole 19 years post the YMX you’ll be at your natural weight. You’ll fall and you’ll still be at your natural weight.

PS DO NOT USE THIS MESSAGE AS AN EXCUSE TO FALL ON PURPOSE.

Ppppps YOU CAN DO THIS. Let’s go. Get yourself on the waitlist for the next round of the Yummy Mummy Experience.

Doors open in March. Go! Hurry!
