You Are Not Behind

My brain was being a dingy ding dingbat today. I sat down today at my desk.

Immediately my brain was like:

“whoooooa, I’m so behind, how have we not gotten to all this, what’s wrong with you, hurry up, everyone’s further than you, let’s go, maybe we should work tonight”

Cue the rush of overwhelm.

These unintentional thoughts and feelings only lasted about 30 seconds.

{thank god for mindset work}

Because **I** interrupted by brain and I said “hhmmm, I wonder why that is.”

And then I remembered. WE’VE BEEN IN QUARANTINE FOR A MONTH.

So, of course “I’m behind”. (PS were never actually behind- that’s always a lie).

So really it’s “of course I have a few more things on my list than usual. That’s okay. It’ll all get done. We are masterful and getting shit done and scheduling without hustling”

Cue the sigh of relief.

Overwhelm is a choice. You have all the power in the world to choose wisely. We got this.

You are not behind. You are right on time. And you have plenty of time to lose weight for the last time.
